In the second segment, “The Music Industry Lawyer” Erin M. Jacobson stops by for an interview. Erin is a celebrated entertainment lawyer who focuses much of her practice on helping indie artists. She gives great insight on when a DIY artist should retain a lawyer, what they should look for in a lawyer, and how to afford one on a budget. She also talks about “Indie Artist Resource”, which is an organization she created that provides template documents, copyright registration assistance, and legal and business consultations for indie artists. You can find out more about Erin at musicindustrylawyer.com and indieartistresource.com.

In the third segment, Ryan discusses a recent Sonicbids blog article by Casey van Wensem that discusses how introvert musicians can promote themselves successfully using social media. Ryan then closes the podcast with some general networking advice.
