Hi Podcast listeners! Thanks for downloading. Be sure to get a copy of the Break the Business audiobook, now available on Amazon, Audible, and iTunes!
In the first segment, Ryan and Dave talk about Ryan’s trip to Niagara Falls and Toronto. R & D also discuss Gene Simmons’ recent comments about his ill-fated attempt to trademark the “Devil Horns” hand gesture. They use the story to give some helpful tips for musicians to register their own trademarks to protect their brand.
In the second segment, electropop DJ Bill “Spruke” Boulden stops by for an interview. Spruke last appeared on the show back in 2015 to talk about his innovative concept album, Music to Die Alone in Space To, which raised over $25,000 on Kickstarter and took an innovative approach to music creation and distribution. Spruke talks about his experience making that album, previews his next (even more ambitious) project, and gives some great tips for indie artists to move their careers forward. Find out more about this terrific artist by visiting www.spruke.net.
In the third segment, we have Dave’s Movie Minute and a round of “Hockey Hall of Famer or Hoser Talk” with our Canadian friend CanaDave.
