Hi Podcast Listeners! Thanks for downloading!

In the first segment, Ryan and Dave discuss Chance the Rapper’s recent comments about his relationship with Apple Music, his status as an indie artist, and his thoughts on streaming. R & D are big fans of Chance’s tremendous career as an indie artist and are also big fans of his support for public education. Lots of great advice in this segment about what it truly means to be an indie artist and how to keep more of your streaming dollars.

In the second segment, show-favorite The Droids join us for a new interview. The Droids are a husband-and-wife synth rock duo who recently had a great article written about them in the blog Mindful Machines (mindfulmachines.wordpress.com/2017/03/06…t-digital/). The Droids talk to Ryan and Dave about that article and also do a second installment of answering music and parenting questions in a rapid-fire format. Check out The Droids’ awesome music by visiting thedroids.bandcamp.com and by visiting patreon.com/thedroids.

In the final segment, Dave introduces a new bit, “Dave’s Movie Minute.” Basically, Dave wanted an excuse to talk about movies on the show, but be able to do it in a way that he can also have fancy imaging for his movie talk. Dave is also giving away a free copy of Metallica’s new album, “Hardwired to Self Destruct.” If you want a copy, tweet Dave @metaldave85 and tell him why you deserve to get the album from him. The best tweet wins!
